How to Use the Medication Tracker

Start by adding your medications in the Medications tab — enter the name, dose, schedule (which days and times), and optional color and reminder settings. Switch to the Today tab to see all doses scheduled for today. Mark each dose as taken or skip it. The History tab shows your adherence statistics, a 30-day calendar heatmap, and per-medication tracking. Use the settings gear to export or import your data.

A private medication tracker that stores everything in your browser's localStorage. Add medications with custom schedules (specific days, multiple times per day), set optional browser notification reminders, and track daily adherence. The Today view shows pending, taken, skipped, and overdue doses. The History view provides overall adherence percentage, per-medication streaks and mini bar charts, a 30-day calendar heatmap, and a detailed daily log. Export your data as JSON for backup or CSV for spreadsheet analysis. Import data to restore or merge across devices. Frequently Asked Questions

Is my medication data private?

Yes. All data is stored in your browser's localStorage. Nothing is ever sent to any server. We never see your medication names, doses, or health information.

Do reminders work when the browser is closed?

No. Browser notification reminders require the Toobits tab to be open (it can be in the background). For critical medication reminders, always use a dedicated medical alarm or phone app as your primary reminder.

Can I use this on multiple devices?

Data is stored per browser. Use the Export button to download your data as JSON, then use Import on another device to restore it. Changes made on one device do not automatically sync to another.

How are streaks calculated?

A streak counts consecutive scheduled days (going backwards from today) where all doses were marked as taken. Days where the medication is not scheduled (rest days) do not break the streak.

Is this a medical device?

No. This is a personal organizational tool. It is not a medical device and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always follow your healthcare provider's instructions.
