How to Use the Water Intake Logger

Set your daily water goal in Settings (default is 2,000 mL / ~8 cups). Tap a quick-add button each time you drink โ€” Small Glass (250 mL), Large Glass (400 mL), or Bottle (500 mL). The progress ring fills in real time. Scroll down to see your 7-day history bar chart and current streak. Open Settings to switch between metric and imperial units, customize quick-add amounts, or toggle reminders.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much water should I drink per day?

Common guidelines suggest about 2,000 mL (roughly 8 cups or 64 fl oz) per day for most adults. However, needs vary based on body weight, activity level, climate, and health conditions. The default goal in this tracker is 2,000 mL โ€” adjust it in Settings to match your personal target.

Is my hydration data private?

Yes. All data is stored in your browser's localStorage. Nothing is ever sent to any server. We never see your intake logs or settings.

Can I change the units from milliliters to ounces?

Yes. Open Settings and toggle between Metric (mL) and Imperial (fl oz). All values โ€” goal, quick-add amounts, and history โ€” convert automatically.

How is the streak calculated?

A streak counts consecutive calendar days (backwards from today or yesterday) where your total intake met or exceeded your daily goal. Today does not count toward the streak until the goal is reached.

Does the Water Intake Logger have a premium tier or tracking limits?

No. The Water Intake Logger is free with no limits on daily entries, no premium tier, and no ads mixed into your log data. Your intake entries, daily goals, and streak history are stored in your browserโ€™s localStorage only โ€” we cannot see your hydration patterns, and no third-party tracker has access to them.
