About This Tool
Convert Microsoft Word documents (.docx) to PDF entirely in your browser. The tool uses mammoth.js to extract and render your document’s content — headings, paragraphs, bold and italic text, lists, and tables — then generates a clean A4 PDF using jsPDF. Because everything runs locally, your document is never transmitted to any server, making it safe for confidential documents like contracts, CVs, and reports. Related: PDF to Text for extracting text from PDFs, PDF to Images for converting PDF pages to images.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is my document uploaded to a server?
No. The entire conversion runs locally in your browser using mammoth.js and jsPDF. Your file never leaves your device, making it safe for sensitive documents like CVs, contracts, and financial reports.
Why does my PDF look slightly different from the Word document?
The conversion extracts text content and structure but cannot replicate every aspect of Word’s rendering engine — custom fonts, precise spacing, headers and footers, and complex layouts may differ. The preview shows exactly what the PDF will look like before you download.
Does it support .doc files (older Word format)?
Only .docx is supported. If you have a .doc file, open it in Microsoft Word and save it as .docx using File → Save As.
Are images in my document included in the PDF?
Yes. Images embedded in .docx files are included in the converted PDF.
What is the maximum file size?
There is no hard limit — all processing happens in your browser. Very large documents (50+ pages with many images) may take longer to convert and generate.
Can I convert multiple files at once?
Currently one file at a time. After downloading, click ‘Convert another file’ to convert the next document.
